Reindeers at Chessington World of Adventures Resort will be getting some tender love and care in the lead up to Christmas this year.

The Resort is pampering its antlered inhabitants by offering some “reindeer R&R” sessions at this “stressful” time of year.

The special pop-up spa has been designed by Chessington’s zoo keepers to help the reindeer cope with the stresses and strains of the festive season with some “truly relaxing treatments”.

Reindeer Willow and Drizzle, who guests can see now at Chessington’s Winter’s Tail event, have an entire menu of spa sessions to choose from, including a Merry Mud Bath, Elk-Aseltzer Soak, Christmas Party Antler Polish and a Finnish Full Body Massage for “ultimate relaxation” this Christmas.

Reindeer keeper Charlotte Drummond said: “With Christmas just around the corner, our reindeer are gearing up for a pretty hectic festive period.

“We wanted to make sure they had the opportunity to put their hooves up and relax beforehand – and where better than at their very own spa.”
