Chessington World of Adventures has been crowned top pick for “best of the biggest fright” this half term by a website for mums and dads.

The attraction was picked by dayoutwiththekids.co.uk. Its Howl'o'ween event runs from October 20-31 and creeped onto the list of 50 must-do autumn activities for children in the south east and London.

Lisa O'Keeffe, brand manager at dayoutwiththekids.co.uk, said: "Halloween events that can cater for visitors of all ages are hard to come across, but Chessington World of Adventures Resort has managed to effortlessly combine spooks and scares for a half-term event with a difference this year.”

She added: “With so much to see and do, plus some great value offers, we are delighted to announce this as the best place for the biggest family fright this autumn."

Coinciding with autumn half-term time, spooky fun can be enjoyed by all the family, including this year's new Creepy Caves attraction.
