Pupils at Danetree Primary School are preparing for a fairytale ending to their “storytelling” topic.
They have been reading and exploring traditional tales this half-term and are looking forward to donning their royal finery along with nine members of staff.
Ball organiser Sarah Arnold said: “Princes and princesses will come from afar to witness the trying-on of Cinderella’s slipper and participate in a royal feast and dance. Watch out for the ugly sisters who will cause havoc and mischief.
“It is a fun way to bring a topic to a close and the ball will give the children an event to remember.”
The ball will take place once upon a time, on October 20.
