Bourne Hall Museum Kids Club is bringing history alive in Epsom and Ewell with its Tudor event this September.
Young historians are invited to take part in the club’s ‘Worst Jobs in Tudor Times’ to experience what they could have been doing in that era, from 2pm to 3.30pm at Bourne Hall, Spring Street.
The afternoon will see a gentleman usher from Henry VIII’s palace of Nonsuch pay a visit to the village recruiting for a gong farmer, a food taster, a spit boy, a groom of the stool, a wool dyer and an executioner.
