A police Facebook page has been inundated with cheeky comments after they posted a job advert with a picture of an attractive blonde recruit.

Surrey Police posted the vacancies to their page on Tuesday evening, but it was quickly bombarded with suggestive comments about PC Claire Binksy's appearance.

The blonde stunner attracted flocks of men to the post, which was advertising for new trainee officers.

Dave Davis said: "Now if only all cops looked like her..."

Richard Gibbins added: "Has anyone done the "she can take down my particulars" joke yet? I will then. See above.

"And keep up the good work by the way."

Other quips included 'take me to jail' and 'she can arrest me any time - and I would resist'.

A spokeswoman for Surrey Police said: “As a police officer or a member of the public, featuring on social media does not mean it is acceptable for other people or the media to objectify or subject you to comments based on your gender or appearance. This kind of behaviour is completely inappropriate and just reflects the immaturity of those posting.”
