Kind-hearted residents donated more than £1,000 towards medical equipment to assess and treat patients with incontinence.
The Epsom Club, a social club based in Church Street, presented the Epsom Medical Equipment Fund (EMEF) with a cheque for £1,000.89 at a buffet supper last week.
The EMEF has raised more than £4 million to fund medical equipment at Epsom Hospital since it was launched by Bess Harding in 1979.
Ms Harding is currently raising £60,040 to purchase an anorectal scanner. She said: “It’s a wonderful result and so kind of people.”
The Epsom Club’s finance manager Ray Welsh added: “It was a pleasure to help Bess’ valuable work to go on.”
