Surrey Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to after a 15-year-old girl was touched inappropriately by a man in a Ewell newsagent’s.

The 15-year-old got off a school bus in Ewell High Street at about 3.30pm on September 26 and went into a newsagent’s with her friend.

As she left, an unknown man bumped into her and touched her inappropriately, before walking away towards Spring Street.

Detective Constable Steven Cassidy from East Surrey Criminal Investigation Department, said: “I would like to speak to the man in this CCTV as I believe he could assist our investigation.

“If you recognise him or if this is you please get in touch with us as a matter of urgency.

“This incident happened at a busy time of day after school and I am urging anybody who was in the area and witnessed the incident or saw anybody acting suspiciously to contact us.

“I am particularly keen to hear from a female driver who wound down her window and spoke to the victim asking if she was ok. If you are that female driver please get in touch with us.

“There was also a number boys believed to be from Ewell Castle School nearby who may be able to help our investigation.”
