A Kingswood man has pleaded guilty to possessing more than 1,000 indecent images of children.
Christopher Baker, 28, of Alcocks Lane, Kingswood, pleaded guilty to three charges of “making an indecent photograph/pseudo photograph of a child" and one of "possessing a prohibited image of a child".
The charge of 'making' an image normally relates to downloading an image onto a computer.
Mr Baker pleaded guilty to possessing 1,379 prohibited images of children at Guildford Crown Court on May 3.
Before the pre-trial preliminary hearing, Mr Baker was ordered not to have any unsupervised contact with any child under 18-years-old.
Mr Baker will be sentenced at Guildford Crown Court on May 31.
