A man flashed a teenager in an alleyway in Ewell over the weekend.

The victim – a 19-year-old woman – was walking alone through the alleyway between West Street to Spring Street in Ewell between 7.50pm and 8pm on Saturday, April 30, when she saw a man standing in the middle of the alley.

As she approached him, the man opened his coat and flashed her.

The suspect did not talk to the woman or try to touch her.

He is described as a white man, about six foot tall, of slim build and possibly in his twenties.

He had short mousey-brown hair and was wearing a long black jacket with baggy beige trousers.

PC Elena Boafo, neighbourhood officer for Ewell village, said, “If you were walking in the area at the time, specifically if you used the alleyway, and potentially saw the incident or noticed anybody acting suspiciously please contact us.

“Surrey Police take incidents of this nature very seriously and any information you have could help us identify the suspect and help us with this investigation.”

A woman in her 50s was flashed on Epsom Common on Wednesday, April 20, by a man who also tried to take a photo of her.

Surrey Police said: "The descriptions are incredibly similar, (but) at this time they aren't being linked.

"However that may change with more information."
