Police are concerned about a man from Tadworth who went missing today after the unexpected death of his wife.

Lee Taylor, 48, has not been seen since about 8pm last night, after family members dropped him off at his home following the unexpected death of his wife earlier that day.

It is believed he left his home address, which police have not released, at about 7am this morning.

He is believed to be in his car, which is a silver Peugeot 407, with the registration number KV06 NLR.

Mr Taylor is described as white, 6ft 2ins tall, of a stocky build, and clean shaven with a bald head.

It is not known what clothing he was wearing when he went missing.

Officers are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare due to his recent bereavement, and are carrying out a thorough search of the surrounding area.

Anyone who has seen a vehicle or anyone matching the descriptions above is asked to contact Surrey Police straightaway on 101, quoting incident reference P16091034.
