A gang of chubby youths stole a teenager’s motorbike in West Ewell after threatening him with a knife and punching him in the stomach.

The 16-year-old victim was with friends in Hogsmill Way, West Ewell, sitting on his white Lexmoto motorbike on Saturday, January 9 sometime between 2.30pm and 2.45pm when he was approached by a group of youths.

One member of the group threatened the boy with a knife and demanded he get off the motorbike.

A second youth grabbed the victim’s bike and punched the rider in the stomach when he refused to let go.

The suspects made off with the bike and damaged it by pulling off panels as they got away.

The motorbike was later recovered in a field nearby.

The suspects - all male - are described as being quite chubby and wearing jogging bottoms.

One of them was riding a bicycle.
