With the New Year approaching, an Epsom music school is gearing up for its ten-year anniversary celebrations at Epsom Playhouse.

All students at Realistic Music Academy will take part in the Christmas Showcase at Epsom Playhouse on Monday, December 21 at 7pm.

The Tones - who toured with the Specials this year - will headline the show.

Realistic Music Academy founder Robin Henderson said: "The Tones were coached at Realistic Music Academy so it’s particularly brilliant that they are coming back to their roots.

"They’ll show current students what’s possible.

"The showcase is an incredible opportunity for these young people. Also Tim Miles from Warner Records will be judging and giving feedback to our current coached bands."

Over the last decade the Epsom music school has been at the forefront of the community providing weekly music lessons, workshops, gigs and specialist band coaching.

Bands coached at the school have gone on to win multiple national acclaims, whilst a number of individual students have secured places in further music education.

Tickets to the Tenth Anniversary Showcase are £10, or £9 each when you buy five or more.

Realistic Music Academy’s Open Day will be on Saturday, December 5 from 10am to 3pm at the Academy in East Street, Epsom.
