Private Eye author Louis Barfe was among 30 alumnae who held a reunion of an Epsom primary school’s class of 1985.
After she found many of her ex-classmates on Facebook, Nikki Hamann organised the Stamford Green Primary School reunion on September 26.
Mr Barfe, who has freelanced for Private Eye and Radio Times, said: “The trouble with meeting people you haven't seen for 30 years is that you might realise exactly why you haven't, but that wasn't the case here.
“We were and are a great bunch. It was lovely to see how few of us have bothered growing up.”
After the success of the first reunion, the ex-pupils now plan to host them regularly.
Mrs Hamann said: “It felt surreal, overwhelming, emotional but incredibly wonderful seeing us all together again.
“Entering the Hall where many previous class photos had been taken was utterly incredible.
“We couldn't get over that the very same benches we'd stood on for photos were still there! It was a wonderful thing to be able to do.”
