FESTIVAL – Kingston Carnival from noon to 7pm on Sunday

The town will come alive with a colourful procession (leaving from the Guildhall at noon), entertainment from community groups and live music from acts such as rapper Akala and witty folkster Beans on Toast. It’s all free. Go to kingstonrec.org

FITNESS – Beckenham Half Marathon from 10.15am on Sunday

Take on the 13.1 mile route, which starts and finishes at Beckenham Rugby Club, in aid of charity Action Against Cancer. Following the race, there is food, drink, music and a charity auction.
