The country’s largest family focused fitness festival will arrive in Ewell on August bank holiday weekend.

The Fitness Festival company will launch its first UK date at Priest Hill and will offer a wide range of fun fitness activities for children and adults.

To create a festival atmosphere, there will be live music, food and drink refreshments and hundreds of different stalls open throughout the day.

As part of an usual fun run, organisers and spectators will be asked to spray coloured paint at runners as they complete the route.

There will also be Superman and Superwoman competitions to find the strongest man and woman at the festival as well as a Fitness Challenge to test speed, strength and stamina.

The main arena will be packed with a demos and activities to including Parkour free-running, games on the tennis courts and exercise activities.

In addition, there will be a special active area featuring Gladiator and Wipeout games, an inflatable obstacle course, a rock climbing wall and a temporary beach.

Event organiser and founder of the Fitness Festival, Cara Hernon, said: "We are really excited to be bringing the Fitness Festival to Surrey this summer.

"We are hoping to make a real impact to the way people in the UK view fitness and exercise, by designing an event that the whole family can enjoy."
