Schoolgirls took part in a Race for Life event wearing fancy dress and all things pink.
Students at Greenacre School for Girls, in Sutton Lane, Banstead, organised the run, which can also be walked or jogged, in aid of Cancer Research.
Organiser Laura Wigley chose two separate routes for the junior and senior school departments.
She said the younger girls ran laps enthusiastically around the school fields, while the older girls ran around the school grounds and then around the school’s all-weather hockey pitch.
Race for Life is a women-only series of events which raises millions of pounds every year for life-saving research into 200 types of cancer, helping men, women and children across the UK.
The school is on course to raise £4,000 for Cancer Research through sponsorship and donations generated by the race.
