Detectives released images of diamond-encrusted designer watches and rings during a Twitter reconstruction of a violent armed robbery yesterday.
The gunman in a balaclava - who reportedly had a sawn-off shotgun - took the extremely valuable jewellery from two young entrepreneurs and their mother at 5.45pm last Wednesday in Kingswood.
A week on from the burglary, police Tweeted images of two Rolex watches, two Chopard watches, six diamond rings and a bracelet during a real-time ‘Tweconstruction’.
After the 'reconstruction', which gave out very little information about what actually happened, police released further images to the press of a platinum cross necklace with eleven diamonds, a Cartier ladies’ watch, a Breitling watch and a Chanel watch.
In the press release Detective Inspector Paul Gordon, they are following a number of lines of enquiry following the "horrendous crime" last week.
DI Gordon said: "A quantity of high-value, distinctive jewellery was stolen during the burglary and I hope that by releasing images of this, someone somewhere will be able to help us find the person responsible."
During the break-in the stocky burglar punched Catherine Stiff, wife of millionaire Robert Stiff, and attacked one of her two daughters in the mansion which backs onto Kingswood Golf Course.
Chloe and Katie Stiff run boutique RBYG in Banstead High Street. Police said they are helping the family at this "upsetting time."
DI Gordon added: "Appeals on social media have assisted with previous investigations and due to the amount of information and images we have collected as part of our enquiries we thought it would be a suitable platform.
"I am hopeful that the appeal this evening will result in further information coming to light and I urge anyone who thinks they may be able to assist with the investigation in any way to tune-in."
A police spokeswoman declined to say how much the stolen items are worth in total.
She said the press office only received the images yesterday afternoon and the Tweconstruction reached 86,000 Twitter accounts.
The robber is a white and about 6ft 4ins and spoke with a London accent. He wore a black jacket and black leather gloves.
