Nonsuch Park is a link to Tudor England and the palace that once stood there was a hugely expensive symbol of King Henry VIII’s power.

And to give visitors an idea of the grandeur of the palace, the Friends of Nonsuch are offering information sessions on a seven foot model of it which was created from contemporary documentation, paintings and an excavation of the palace site in 1959.

The model will be on display and available to view in the Stable Wing of the much later Nonsuch Mansion in the heart of Nonsuch Park in November and December.

Nonsuch Palace Model; Nonsuch Mansion; every Sunday in November and December, 11am to 3pm; £2.50; visit www.friendsofnonsuch.co.uk.
