Billy Elliot the Musical will be beamed live from the West End to cinemas around Europe for one night only on Sunday, September 28.

Watch a recording of the live show, performed at Victoria Palace Theatre, from the comfort of Leatherhead Theatre on Friday, 0ctober 3.

Twenty-seven former and current Billy Elliots will unite on stage for a special finale.

Director Stephen Daldry said: "We are thrilled to welcome so many of our former Billys back to the Victoria Palace Theatre for this very special performance.

"We’ve been delighted to see them flourish as performers since their time in the show and it will be wonderful to bring them together again for this unique event."

The musical stars Ruthie Henshall as ballet teacher Mrs Wilkinson. Henshall went to Laine Theatre Arts, a performing arts college in Epsom, before making her name in the West End.

She recently led a sing-along by performing a medley of songs from Mary Poppins at the Royal Albert Hall on the Last Night of the Proms. Set against a backdrop of miners' strikes, Billy Elliot is the heart-warming story of a boy who dreams of becoming a ballet dancer.
