Volunteers braved the hot weather and picked up litter in and around Headley on Saturday.
David Preedy, chairman of Headley Parish Council said: "We managed to clear all the roads in the village and many of the footpaths, and a delegation of younger volunteers concentrated off-road on the National Trust areas.
"We also had a group washing all the road signs to improve their legibility. Many thanks to everybody who turned up despite the temperature and risk of rain - and to Lynn at the Village Stores for providing welcome cool drinks."
