A top girl’s school has appointed a new headteacher after the shock departure of its previous head.

Former head Sarah Mackintosh’s sudden resignation caused alarm and surprise to parents and pupils at Rosebery School in White Horse Drive, Epsom, in April.

Following the controversy, the school held meetings to reassure parents that financial challenges and communication problems were being effectively addressed.
