A shopping centre has donated four new bikes to help police cover more ground and visit more people.
The Ashley Centre handed over the bikes to the Epsom and Ewell Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team on Wednesday.
Neighbourhood Inspector Craig Knight said he was absolutely delighted to receive the sponsored bikes from the centre.
Insp Knight said: "Police work really closely with partners in crime prevention and the benefits of this sort of sponsorship are enormous.
"It allows us to patrol alleys, bridleways, roads and areas of open space in a much more efficient manner. It can also reduce our use of motor vehicles and as result reduce our carbon footprint."
Ashley Centre Manager David Beddows said: "As part of commitment to green issues we have sponsored four police bikes.
"We are really pleased that these bicycles will help officers do their job even more efficiently and effectively."
