Slim: the group donated clothes that were too big to Cancer Research
Fat fighters in Stoneleigh donated their old baggy clothes to a cancer charity.
Members of Stoneleigh’s Slimming World group gave their unwanted clothes, some of which were five sizes too big, to Cancer Research as part of a wider campaign with the weight loss group.
Cancer Research’s Epsom branch collected the clothes from the weight watchers.
Consultant Sue Leggatt said she was so proud of her members and their tremendous weight losses which led to many donations for the charity.
The group meets on Tuesday’s at the Mead School in Newbury Gardens, Stoneleigh at 5.30pm and welcomes new members.
