Irish singer-songwriter Grainne Duffy is a unique talent.

Her wonderful mix of blues rock and soul in her original material and her treatment of a few carefully-selected standards is charged with true emotion and feeling that can win over any audience and leave them begging for more.

Apart from a heavy schedule of touring and festivals during 2012, including Glastonbury, the singer from County Monaghan, Ireland, recorded her track Get Here for a BBC promotion campaign that aired over the summer.

She has also appeared on Irish TV’s in their Other Voices music programme. Her sound has been compared to Bonnie Raitt whom she lists as an influence, and Joss Stone.
