Claygate children making food sculptures for jubilee
10:00am Wednesday 30th May 2012 in News By Louise Robertson
Diamond jubilee parties will be held across the UK
A children’s art company will make 3D food sculptures as they try to create a feast fit for a Queen.
Sticky Fingers Art is taking bookings for the jubilee-themed event at Claygate Village Hall on Friday, June 8.
The event from 10am to 3pm is for children aged five to 11 and the art group will also make celebratory masks.
Sticky Fingers Art owner Stella Allan said: “I’m thrilled to be celebrating the jubilee in such a creative and fun way with local children.
“By the end of the event the feast will look glorious. By providing engaging and inspiring art activities little artists can immerse themselves and produce something to be proud of.”
The event costs £30 for each child or £55 for two siblings.
