MORE FILM AND TV:

He said: “We find Finn, he’s in incredible danger and the way he decides to react to this danger changes his life, number one, and launches him into the Star Wars universe in a very unique way.

“I can’t wait for you guys to see it.”

Oscar Isaac talked about his role as ‘the best frickin’ pilot in the Galaxy’, X Wing pilot Poe Dameron while Brit Daisy Ridley also discussed her role before the film’s ‘older stars’, including Anthony Daniels, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher were presented to the excited crowd.

Fans’ reaction to the trailer yesterday was overwhelmingly enthusiastic and director JJ Abrams admitted that creating a new film in the Star Wars universe was scary.
