Broadway's longest running musical set to delight

Broadway's longest running musical A Chorus Line is set to delight audiences later this month.

The original show was conceived by choreographer Michael Bennett and composer Marvin Hamlish, penned as a musical for anyone who has ever had a dream and lived for it.

Audiences are transported to a Broadway stage with 17 dancers facing a gruelling audition for the chance of a lifetime - to bag a spot on a coveted dancing chorus.

It's the dream the dancers have worked for tirelessly, every day of their lives.

A memorable score, gripping drama and captivating choreography combine as the plot progresses.

The show has won nine Tony awards and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, wowing audiences with dance styles ranging from ballet to tap.

Well known musical numbers such as "I Hope I Get It" and "What I did for Love" showcase the dancer's desires and fears, resonating with audiences.

Producer Sophie Barthel said: "This musical, which was conceived by Bennett as a tribute to a dancer’s life, highlights the fierce desires and debilitating fears faced during a career, fears and desires which echo within all of us.

"Choreographer Zoe Swenson-Graham has created a truly unique version of the show that will leave you dancing up the aisles."
